The rumors are true this time! After much speculation it looks like we will see a movie with Mackenzie Foy! Renesmee is the character she will play, who is Edward and Bella’s love child. This is all very new, so for the full story, with more photos and videos, keep reading below.

The ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ will appear in theatres in two parts, the first coming out in November 2011. The 9 year old has only been in a couple TV shows, “‘Til Death” and FlashForward,” and some commercials. She seems to look the part, now we will see if she can act it as well!

The entrance of Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy, who is half human and half vampire causes a lot of drama on the Twilight scene. She ends up being a very central character and the actress could easily become a big star who everyone has heard of.

Have you seen her eyes? If not you have to see the photo here. A lot of actors and actresses get their starts young when they are unknown and rocket to stardom, i.e. Dakota Fanning & the Olsen twins. Will this young lady be the next big thing?

It seems that overall people are pleased with the choice. It stinks that we have to wait so long to check out the new movie, and even longer for the second half! The author of the books, Stephanie Meyer is very delighted with the official decision to make her the daughter of Edward and Bella. She said on Facebook:

“Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy. She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with her. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer!”

T.J. Lavin is the MTV host of The Challenges and a BMX star who is in serious condition after he crashed during a BMX event. I have the lowdown on just how serious Lavin’s condition is as well as more about him which of course includes some pictures and a video!

Some of you know T.J. Lavin as MTV host of The Challenges reality TV show and some of you know him as a BMX star. Today however T.J. is being known as the man in a medically induced coma. According to TMZ during the Dew Tour event last night in Las Vegas Lavin hit a dirt ramp causing him to lose control of his bike and slam into the ground. TMZ further reports that T.J. is experiencing some swelling in his brain and at this time he is listed in critical condition.

In terms of a bio this is what we know about know about Thomas Joseph Lavin. The Las Vegas born and raised hottie has had a passion for the BMX life since he was a young kid. He began competing when he was a teenager and has made quite the name for himself in the sport. Seriously he is a force to be reckoned with in the BMX world just anyone who knows him or has competed against him.

Despite his love of the biking world as I call it Lavin has also dabbled in the music and television industries too. He released his own album LAVS the First SET. Fans of The Challenges know T.J. from his hosting duties over the years which is actually what I know him from best. although I did see him compete once which was really freaking cool.

His MySpace page says he also has a passion for cool cars like the 1967 Caddy he restored. Ladies I hate to break this to you but his MySpace page also lists him as being in relationship, sigh!

T.J. Lavin is MTV host of The Challenges and BMX star who I hope makes a safe, fast speedy recovery from his very serious injuries that he sustained during the Dew Tour event. If you have any additional information on T.J. or his condition please let me know!

'Back To The Future' Memorabilia: Check Out Bob Gale's Mr. Fusion Lamp!

Like anyone with a pulse, I am obsessed with "Back to the Future." Whenever I find myself interviewing someone connected to the trilogy, I'm forced to ditch my reporter's hat and morph into a nerdy 8-year-old, probing for juicy info about one of my favorite movies of all time.

The new Muppet movie (titled "The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made," "'The Greatest Muppet Movie of All Time" or nothing at all, depending on where you look) snowballed together a good collection of talent this year as Jason Segel and Nick Stoller's project picked up "Flight of the Conchords" co-creator James Bobin to direct. The cast surrounding Segel just expanded, too, with Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones reportedly hammering out terms for joining the film.

Segel and Adams will play a boyfriend-girlfriend duo that helps the Muppets in their battle against Cooper's villain, who's threatening to tear down the Muppets' old studio; Jones will play the role of an ABC exec, according to a story on Heat Vision.

Those parts corroborate script details that leaked out earlier this year, which said the movie would follow the Muppets in a quest to save their show's old home. It sounds like Stoller may not have gotten his wish to start shooting in September, but sources for the blog now say that Bobin anticipates a November date to commence shooting in Los Angeles.

Segel and Jones worked together before on "I Love You, Man," but thus far the cast hasn't been pooling from his Judd Apatow network of collaborators. That's probably fine, too, as Cooper and Adams aren't shabby in the acting department -- they've got an Oscar win and two nominations, respectively.

Last night David and I made our way to The Mayan Theater to see M.I.A. and Rye Rye in concert … and we had THE best time ever:

While I was unfamiliar with Rye Rye‘s music before last night I can tell you right now, I am a fan! Rye Rye‘s short opening set was so much fun, with great songs and amazing dancing … I cannot wait to hear and see more from her. I’m telling you, both David and I were so impressed with Rye Rye‘s performance … she gained two instant fans last night. M.I.A. as usually … just killed her set. She was fantastic as well. Both ladies put on exceptionally fun shows … my only complaint was that M.I.A.‘s show was only an hour long. That being said, we got to see her play in a tiny theater and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house so … I’m really not complaining. We had a lot of fun. The show is amazing … if M.I.A. and Rye Rye are coming your town you need to see them. I know the duo will be playing St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit, MI next week and that is my fave venue in Detroit so, yeah, see this show!!

Today, the heavy metal world lost a true legend. Ronnie James Dio, who most recently fronted the Black Sabbath-without-Ozzy band Heaven & Hell, lost his battle with stomach cancer at 7:45 a.m. PST. He was 67.

“My heart is broken,” said his wife and manager, Wendy Dio in a statement. “Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all.”

On November 25, 2009, Dio announced that he was diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. Four months later, Wendy Dio posted that he had undergone his seventh session of chemotherapy and his health seemed to be improving. “Our [cancer clinic] visits are now every three weeks instead of every two weeks,” she wrote.

About a month later, on April 8 Dio attended the the Revolver Golden Gods awards, where he won the “Best Vocalist Award.” At the event, he spoke to Sirius Liquid Metal’s Jose Mangin and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and discussed his new found lease on life.

Artisan news service also talked to Dio on the black carpet outside the event and Dio was candid about the discomfort of chemotherapy and his faith in the doctors who were treating him. He appeared frail, but was friendly and optimistic; no one could have guessed how little time he had left.

Then on May 4, Heaven & Hell announced that they were canceling all summer tour dates while Dio continued his treatment. After the announcement, Dio issued his own statement. “This setback could be devastating, but we will not let it be,” he said. “With your continued love and support, we will carry on and thrive. There will be other tours, more music, more life and much more magic.”

Late on Saturday, May 15, the Internet was abuzz with reports that Dio had died. In response, his wife issued the statement, "I am at the hospital and Ronnie has NOT passed away!!!! He is not doing good, but he is not dead.”

Ronnie James Dio died at a time when his career was on an upward arc. Since the mid ‘80s, he had been in and out of Black Sabbath three times, but after recording the Heaven & Hell album ‘The Devil You Know’ with his Sabbath band mates in 2009, Dio seemed to be back on top of his game. Tours to support the record were universally acclaimed and the band was making plans to head back into the studio when Dio was diagnosed with cancer.

In addition to singing with Black Sabbath and Heaven & Hell, Dio enjoyed an immensely successful solo career in the band Dio, which formed in 1982 after he left Sabbath for the first time, and released 10 albums with them, including the commercially successful discs 1983’s ‘Holy Diver,’ 1984’s ‘The Last in Line,’ 1985’s ‘Sacred Heart’ and 1987’s ‘Dream Evil.’

Dio broke into the music industry with the blues-rock band Elf, where he honed his powerfully resonant vocals. He joined Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow in 1975 and sang with them until 1978, then joined Black Sabbath after Ozzy Osbourne was fired from the group. The band’s 1980 debut ‘Heaven and Hell’ was a thunderous comeback -- one that showcased Dio's expressive, operatic vocals, which were a stark contrast to Osbourne's unschooled howl. Black Sabath followed in 1981 with the equally potent ‘Mob Rules.’ However, while on tour for the album, friction between Dio and his band mates developed and while 'Live Evil,' a concert album of the tour, was being engineered, Dio was fired. He returned to Black Sabbath during the height of the alternative rock movement for the 1992 album ‘Dehumanizer’ but left again shortly after when his band mates reformed their original lineup with Ozzy Osbourne.

Dio’s final reunion with Black Sabbath – and the one that lasted until his death – came in 2006 when Rhino records expressed interest in putting out a greatest hits package of Dio’s years with the band. Since there were no B-sides or live tracks lying around, Black Sabbath made plans to get together with Dio to write, and came up with three new songs, ‘Shadow of the Wind,’ ‘The Devil Cried’ and ‘Ear in the Wall.’ The writing sessions were so enjoyable, the members decided to tour together as Heaven & Hell. Following the tour, they started writing the full-length Heaven and Hell Album ‘The Devil You Know.’

In the final sentence of her statement to fans, Wendy Dio said, “We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us… Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.”

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Marisa Miller is teaming up with yet another legendary sports organization: the National Football League.

The supermodel has signed on as the spokesperson for the NFL’s 2010-2011 season, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

“I’m so excited to have this incredible opportunity to partner with the NFL,” Miller says. “I’ve grown up watching football my whole life.”

The “SuperFan” will be promoting the league’s special events, including the October 31 International Series game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos in London, airing on CBS.

“Marisa’s love for the NFL and our sport made her ideally suited for this role,” said Chris Parsons, NFL vice president of international. “We look forward to working with her.”
