It took a few years, but broadcast networks like ABC, FOX and NBC are FINALLY including a rating for content streamed online.

Way back in the day, 50 Cent had some beef with Oprah Winfrey because she took issue with some of the misognistic content featured in hip hop culture -- namely on his music! Therefore, in his eyes, she was nothing more than a "white woman."

Well, The Big O NEVER forgets, and was apparently biding her time until she interview him recently for Oprah's Next Chapter, during which she brought up their alleged 'feud' and very uncomfortably put him on the spot regarding his past comments.

We heard that Ann Curry was leaving her position as Matt Lauer's co-anchor on The Today Show, but now sources are suggesting she actually got the boot!

NBC has been looking for a replacement for at least two weeks and even offered a nice, big contract to former Today anchor Meredith Vieira.

Unfortunately, she's not innerested in returning to the show she left behind for bigger, better things, while Lauer reportedly isn't innerested in continuing to work with Curry. On top of decreasing ratings as a reason for her removal, Lauer and the network weren't fans of her performance.

Aww! We thought she was doing just fine, but our opinion doesn't really matter and she'll be gone by the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Since Vieira has passed on the job, we hear that the frontrunner is co-host of the third hour of Today, Savannah Guthrie.

Hopefully she doesn't get promoted only to be fired too...

So … yes … Darion and I saw Garbage in concert — AGAIN — yesterday but I swear, it’s the last time we’ll see the band … for a few months :) We were graciously invited to attend yesterday’s concert performance at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, CA for the KjEE Summer Round Up (which also featured The Naked and the Famous and Silversun Pickups) and we just couldn’t say no. For the trip, Darion rented a Mustang convertible and off we went! We had SO MUCH FUN! OY! The Best!!

We met up with Darion’s friend Danny in SB and then made our way to the venue. The three of us got to hang out for a bit with goddess Shirley Manson before the show and, let’s be real, that alone made the trek up North worth it ;) The band performed an amazing set of songs and Darion and I were in heaven, obvs. After the show, the three of us grabbed a bite to eat at a place called Carlito’s … then we trekked back to LA. It was a superfun day … one that will tide over these overzealous Garbage fans for a few months … that is, until the band returns to the States after they tour Europe this Summer.

In a few hours, I’ll be on a plane home to Detroit for a few days. I need to check in with my folks and spend some much needed time with my BFF Sarah. I haven’t seen Sarah since she surprised me in Europe on David’s and my engagement trip in February. I’m excited. Have a great Saturday, y’all! I’ll see you next in DETROIT ROCK CITY!

Another day, another intimate Garbage performance. I was invited by 98.7 FM here in LA to attend one of their Houseguest penthouse performances at the famed Hollywood Tower to see Garbage play a live acoustic set. Now, y’all know how much I love me some Garbage so I simply couldn’t turn down the invite. I met up with Darion and our friends Steph and Alec at The Hollywood Tower and snagged ourselves a prime location for the show. Check out some photos and video below.

The band only played a handful of songs but every track was performed acoustically. I have seen quite a few Garbage shows in my day but I’ve never been able to see the band play an acoustic set. They were just amazing. Here is video of the band performing their first ever single Vow:

Not only was the band amazing but so, too, was the location. The Hollywood Tower is one of those iconic buildings that really hearken back to the golden age of Tinsel Town. I’ve always wanted to visit … and yesterday’s performance was the perfect first visit. The views from the penthouse balcony are stunning. Everything about the event was perfect.

After the show, we made our way across the street to the 101 Coffee Shop for a bite to eat and that was my night. If you can believe it, Darion and I are making our way to Santa Barbara this afternoon for — yes — another Garbage performance. I know it may sound like things are getting out of hand but D and I figure we might as well enjoy the band while we can because they’ll be spending the entire Summer in Europe on tour. The trip to SB will be a quick one … we see the show then return home. I fly out to Detroit tomorrow afternoon so … bizzy bizzy bizzy.

It’s Friday, again! Can you believe it? It’s also June. The year is half over … oy!! Hope you have a great weekend!!

A few days ago we got to see some photos from Beyoncé’s first concert since giving birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy. Crazy in Love is one of Bey’s iconic hits and I’m not surprised that a video of this performance from her Revel concert has hit the internet. The video is so fun and seeing her down on the floor dancing her way over to the audience, having what looks like an absolute blast, and seeing the audience having even more fun, is exactly what I would expect from a Beyoncé Knowles concert. I have to say, this is one of my fave Beyoncé hits, just because it embodies the vibrancy and buoyancy that is her! It is just so impressive that this is her performing for the first time since becoming a mother just 5 months ago.

Her hubby, Jay-Z is super proud of her, as to be expected. He posted onto Twitter the sweetest message: “I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine.” BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.” LOVE!

Mohawk Media has a graphic novel starring the beloved Mr. T, and now that series has been digitalized for everyone's viewing pleasure!

Eco Comics online store is hosting them, and currently has the first five issues of the series!

Written by Chris Bunting and drawn by JL Czerniawski, it straight up sold out when it was being printed normally.

Editor Stuart Buckley said this:

"It was always our intention to release the Mr. T graphic novel as a comic book series. Each chapter was intentionally structured to be the same length as a comic book. However, we've had to adjust to market demands. The graphic novel has sold out. The digital titles of Eco Comics have no print run, and so will never sell out, meaning every T fan can order a copy. The added satisfaction is that the environment hasn't suffered as a result of paper production."

We can get behind that, and we pity the fool who can't!

Yesterday was still very much a quiet day for me … ever since I got home from NYC Monday night, I’ve felt pretty cruddy. My throat has been sore, I’ve been really phlegmy and totally exhausted. I haven’t had the energy to go for a run since I did my 6 miles in Central Park on Monday so I’m itching to get out there again (I didn’t even make it out to see my concert last night). I thought I’d be up for a run yesterday but I just couldn’t do it. Today’s the day, tho, I’m gonna try and run for as long as possible to keep my weekly milage up. All of this exhausted downtime has afforded me the opportunity to read, to, so I’m happy to report that I’m just over halfway thru A Clash of Kings, book 2 of George R.R. Martin‘s series A Song of Ice and Fire.

As you may know, season of of the HBO series Game of Thrones is based on A Clash of Kings so I’ve been really enjoying watching the eps and reading the book. I’ve noticed that there are quite a few differences from the book than the TV series … much more so than was different in season one. I started rewatching the eps from season two last night to help me keep the book in context — which is very helpful — but I’m really looking forward to moving on to the subsequent books and finishing them before season 3 of Game of Thrones debuts on HBO next year.

But, as much as I’ve been enjoying all the reading, I’m kinda anxious to get back to the running. If I’m going to run 2 half marathons and a full marathon later this year, I have to keep up my training. I should be breaking the 9 mile mark soon. Tonight, David and I have a double date with our friends Gray and Jeff so that will be fun. I hope all y’all are having a great Friday and will have a happy weekend ahead!

CBS Unveils 2012 2013 Fall Lineup

Coming off a fairly consistent year, the CBS Network has decided to bring back 19 of their current programs and introduce four new series in their newly-announced 2012-2013 schedule.

Looking to spice things up a bit, shows like “Elementary,” “Vegas,” “Made in Jersey,” and “Partners” will add to the already stellar catalog of CBS goodies.

And of course the much beloved “Big Bang Theory,” and “Two and a Half Men” will be back to keep viewers doubled over in laughter for the duration of the season.

CBS President Nina Tassler told press, “These new series feature a great range of bold concepts, rich characters, big stars and fresh faces. ABC Announces Fall 2012 2013 Lineup

It’s going to be an exciting time in television this fall, as the ABC network has unveiled some fabulous new shows on deck for their primetime schedule.

In the months ahead, shows like “666 Park Avenue,” “The Family Tools,” “How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life,” “Last Resort,” “Malibu Country,” “Mistresses,” “Nashville,” “The Neighbors,” “Zero Hour,” and “Red Window” will be making their debut.

Meanwhile, favorites like “The Middle,” “Modern Family,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Dancing with the Stars,” and “Last Man Standing” will all return for the new season.

ABC president Paul Lee explained, “We are using the success we achieved last season as a strong foundation to launch some more great shows this time around.”

“Last year was about stability and ambition, this year is about growth and continuing momentum, with strong programming that will stake ABC’s claim on more nights as the home of quality entertainment.”

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil Banned From Salons!

Patricia Krentcil has earned the nickname Tanning Mom after she was accused of encouraging her five-year-old to use a tanning bed, leading to burns on her skin. But that is now only part of the problems she is facing. Now her favorite places in the whole, wide world—tanning salons—are starting to black list her. According to TMZ, she is no longer welcome at many of the salons near her home in New Jersey. Can you blame them? The one that allegedly allowed the five-year-old to tan is now under investigation as part of the child abuse case against the mother. But all of this leads me to a few questions. Should tanning salons operate more like bars, where they can deny you if you’ve had enough. This lady has DEFINITELY HAD ENOUGH. She makes the crew from the Jersey Shore look like Casper The Friendly Ghost. It’s not cute, or even midly nice looking, it’s just plain scary! Many of the salons near her have gone so far as to post pictures of her (I can’t imagine having to look at her so often) in their stores to keep staff from allowing her in. FOX Announces 2012 2013 Fall Season Lineup

Keeping their momentum rolling forward, FOX has announced their 2012-2013 television schedule to debut this fall.

And according to the release, viewers will be treated to three new comedy series, including “Ben and Kate,” “The Goodwin Games,” and “The Mindy Project.”

In the drama department, “The Mob Doctor” and “The Following” will be making their debuts, and a few existing shows will be getting new time slots.

Chairman Peter Rice declared, “Television continues to be the most vibrant, emotionally rich platform in the world. FOX has been the No. 1 network for eight seasons by delivering groundbreaking, engaging and culturally relevant shows that connect with our audience, not only on-air, but wherever they are in the digital or social space.”

“With first-year culture-driving hits like NEW GIRL and THE X FACTOR and strong returning tent poles like AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE, we were laser focused on our development and it has really paid off,” added president Kevin Reilly. “I have no doubt that our two genre-defying new dramas, our new FOX Sports Saturdays, and our three new distinctive, sharp and upscale comedies – all fronted by incredible talent – can propel FOX to even greater success.”
