The rating we're used to seeing on the upper left hand corner of the TV screen will now be seen on the computer screen as well and parent watchdog groups couldn't be happier. Jim Dyke, executive director of TV Watch praised the decision by saying:
"For years, the content ratings have proven to be one of the most popular tools parents use to help make decisions about what their children watch on television. By taking this step today, these networks are giving parents an expanded set of tools to help determine what their children watch based on their own taste, style and age."
Since viewing television content online is becoming increasingly more popular, this is no doubt the next logical step in helping parents determine what shows are or aren't appropriate for their kids.
